Anthony James Cummings is a third generation Group 1 trainer.
His grandfather, James Martin started the dynasty followed of course by James Bartholomew, the Cups King.
Anthony is proud to be following in the family tradition of Group 1 success– most recently with Hotel Grand in the AJC Champion Stakes – and like his father and his grandfather before him, will continue to train on at the highest level. Does Anthony have the eye for a future champion?
He selected and purchased Might And Power and Defier as yearlings. With a strike rate of around 80% winners to runners of horses bought as yearlings, he is at the top of his profession.
