Meet The Team Barry Smith - Sydney Foreman Barry Smith has been Anthony's Sydney foreman for almost ten years and has been at the stable for fifteen years altogether. He has worked in some of the best performed stables in the UK and US making his experience, organisation and management skills as well as his fine horsemanship vital to Anthony Cummings Racing's success. Dan Williams - Melbourne Foreman Dan Williams began working for Anthony Cummings Racing in August of 2008 and has grown into the role of Senior Foreman at our Caulfield Stables in Melbourne. Originally starting in the Sydney stable, Dan is a reliable track rider who took the reins on the likes of Duporth, Road To Rock, Sister Madly and Tallow. His skill in the saddle, as well as his reliable feed back made him an important member of the Anthony Cummings Racing team. He was promoted to Junior Foreman and then travelling foreman before being asked to make the move to Melbourne in July 2011. He has overseen the refurbishments in the Caulfield stables and we are confident he will continue to deliver good results for us into the future. Edward Cummings - Foreman Edward has been involved in Anthony's stable since August 2009 following his completion of a Bachelor in Media & Communications at The University of New South Wales. He began working as an owner liaison for the stable, dealing predominantly with the day to day progress reports of the horses and taking care of owners on raceday, however following a 9 month period working for Coolmore Australia in the Hunter Valley as well as Aiden O'Brien at Ballydoyle in County Tipperary, Ireland he has since moved on to ground work as a junior foreman. Berni Cummings - Office Manager Berni has helped organise Anthony Cummings Racing from day one and continues to run the office on High St, ensuring the business continues to run smoothly. Her knowledge of the industry and her personable nature makes her an essential aspect of the team. Her management skills and client services allow Anthony to focus on the horse's progress as they build towards campaign goals. Georgia Lee Chaplin - Accounts Georgia Lee Chaplin is the head of our Accounts department and brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, having previously been employed by Brambles Transport for nearly 20 years. Her background in Financial Management helps the business arm of Anthony Cummings racing to operate smoothly and her involvement in Malabar Pony Club gives her a good grounding in the day to day running of our stable.
