| Lovemelikarock makes last-ditch Slipper bid |

A Golden Slipper start goes on the line for promising filly Lovemelikearock at Rosehill.
Lovemelikarock contests the Magic Night Stakes and she is the early favourite to win and earn automatic entry in the $3.5 million Golden Slipper.
But trainer Anthony Cummings says there will be a caveat attached to any victory celebrations.
“If she can win impressively then, yes, I’d say she will go into the Slipper but if there are any questions marks then we’ll have to sit down and have a think about it,” he said.
Lovemelikarock’s rider Corey Brown is adamant the Fastnet Rock filly can put herself in the Golden Slipper picture.
“She is learning all the time and there is a quality racehorse inside her frame,” he said.
When betting was opened on the Magic Night, Lovemelikearock was installed as the $4 favourite.
