| Cummings to send Lovemelikearock against the boys |

Cummings has decided to pay a late entry fee to get Group III Spring Stakes winner Lovemelikearock into the Group I Spring Champion Stakes on October 3.
“The step up to 2000 metres will be no problem for her,” Cummings said. “She sustained a long run to win the Spring Stakes and the Spring Champion Stakes will be much more suitable for her.
“If she runs in the Flight Stakes, they’ll go too slowly. She’ll have no chance of outsprinting More Joyous and Melito over a mile.”
Cummings said Lovemelikearock would head to Melbourne to contest the Group II Wakeful Stakes after the Spring Champion Stakes.
