Anthony Cummings enjoyed a two state winning double on Saturday with quality filly Tallow winning The Vanity at Flemington and three-year-old Will To Win scoring at Randwick.
While Lightning Stakes runner Seeking Attention was out of the placings in the Flemington Group 1 and stablemate Sister Madly a race morning scratching, it was left to Tallow to fly the stable flag.
Ridden perfectly by Corey Brown, Tallow got clear late to score a strong win over 1400m.
"It was a good, strong win and just what we were expecting," said Cummings.
"She had done well since running second in the Magic Millions Trophy at the Gold Coast and she is still on the up. I don't think she'll have any trouble getting over a mile."
Tallow is a daughter of stallion Street Cry, which also sired last spring's Melbourne Cup winner Shocking.
At Randwick Will To Win couldn't have impressed more in winning with stable apprentice Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.
Starting as a solid favourite, Will To Win led throughout to score by two lengths.
"He got into the race with no weight on his back and Brenton rode him well," Cummings said.
"He's always shown plenty of talent so hopefully he'll go right on with the job now."
