Melbourne momentum to roll on
Having won The Vanity last weekend at Flemington with Tallow, trainer Anthony Cummings is out to go right on with the job this weekend.
Cummings, who is in New Zealand at the Karaka yearling sale, will start last start Rosehill runner-up Money Rocks at Moonee Valley on Friday night along with stablemate French Gaze.
"Damien Oliver will ride the pair of them," said Cummings.
"They'll both be very competitive.
"Money Rocks broke her maiden well on the Kensington track and then was just beaten in Saturday grade at Rosehill last time out.
"And French Gaze is better for two runs back from a spell. He's an improver this time after taking on a better grade race at Caulfield at his latest start."
Cummings will send around two-year-old filly Extremis in the fillies division of the Blue Diamond Prelude at Caulfield on Saturday with Mark Zahra booked for the ride.
"She's a nice Flying Spur filly which has only had the two starts," said Cummings.
"She ran well on debut at Canterbury then didn't have much go her way in the Blue Diamond Preview.
"I'm expecting a bold run on Saturday."
